- Mill shell lining systems are fastened at the mill cylinder,
- In order to balance small unevennesses of the mill tube, a heat-resistant rubber layer is put beneath the plates; this ensures a perfect setting of the lining plates,
- The fastening is generally done by bolts; here every plate is fastened by one bolt,
- Due to the high precision of the lining plates produced in the shell moulding casting method, also semi-bolted and boltless fastening systems are possible,
