December 2010

CPB has delivered a new ball mill for the production of cement to the Portlandzementwerk Wotan in Ahütte, Germany. The new highly efficient plant is capable to easily produce cement types with mass related surfaces of more than 5.000 cm/g acc. Blaine.

A new name for an innovative product range: The OptiTromp family consists of five members of dynamic separators with rotating cage. Contrary to static separators without driven rotating cage these five are equipped with a powered rotating cage.

The efficiency of a grinding circuit is dependent on the performance of the integrated classification to a considerable extent. The Chair of Mineral Processing at the Montanuniversität of Leoben and CPB have started a research cooperation in April 2010 for a duration of 2.5 years.

For the 6th time the 3-day Pfeiffer Seminar took place in October this year. The feedback from the participants who already joined one of our seminars is clear: everyone gathered comprehensive and needful skills for his daily field of activities. Of course this training course will be offered again in 2011.

Christian Pfeiffer South Africa is offering innovative service to its customers already using high chrome ALLMAX® grinding media produced by Christian Pfeiffer. A grinding media sorting machine is rented for sorting complete ball charges dropped from the mills on regular basis.
