CPB intensive training for four people of the maintenance staff of cement plants from Ghana
The Christian Pfeiffer Maschinenfabrik Beckum is currently carrying out a six-week intensive training for the employees of maintenance teams of diverse cement plants from Ghana.
First of all, basic knowledge was imparted in various seminars regarding mill diaphragms, slotted plates, mill shell linings, grinding media and material science at the location Beckum. Then, the maintenance staff gained insight into the process technology and the potentials for mill optimization. A visit to the most modern cement plant of Germany, Portlandzementwerk Wotan in Üxheim-Ahütte, rounded off the first part of the training. The cement plant had received a grinding plant designed according to the latest knowledge which was developed, supplied, designed and commissioned by Christian Pfeiffer in spring of 2011.
The guests will receive an extensive training over the next three weeks at the location Liezen. There, they will be employed, among others, in the production, especially in the manufacture of components for Ghana Cement. The knowledge of assembly and design enables the maintenance staff to adjust their installations and components optimally to the grinding process and carry out simple reparations by themselves.
By introducing these measures of training, Christian Pfeiffer has consistently developed further its service for its customers. They are in addition to the already proven and popular seminars by customers the logical continuation in this area and will be an integral part of the portfolio of offers of Christian Pfeiffer.
