With joint ventures into the Asian market
Christian Pfeiffer has further expanded its sales efforts in the Asian region by setting up two joint ventures.
Already in the last newsletter, Christian Pfeiffer had reported on the signing of the agreement of its joint venture in China. Christian Pfeiffer Beckum, the Maschinenfabrik Liezen as well as the Jidong Development Group with its subsidiary Jidong Development Equipment Engineering hold shares in this joint venture. Since the 17th of April, the new company is registered in Beijing under the name “Pfeiffer Jidong Liezen Machinery (Beijing) Co.Ltd.“ and has already started its sales activities.
Christian Pfeiffer has also entered a joint venture with Chanderpur Works Pvt. Ltd. in India. This company is registered in Delhi since the 27th of April under the name „Christian Pfeiffer India Pvt. Ltd.“ and is strengthening now the local sales activities on the markets in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
The volume of business ranges over both the sales in these markets and the production of components. With these two joint ventures, Christian Pfeiffer feels to be well positioned for the Asian market and therefore expects a sustainable success in these growth markets.
